A general purpose, solvent-borne bituminous black paint formulated to protect a wide range of building materials against water and weather damage. Once dry, it forms an odourless and taint-free bitumen film, delivering durable, long-lasting surface protection. Designed for exterior use, this high-performance coating provides reliable waterproofing while helping to extend the lifespan of treated substrates.

Applications and Versatility:

Cold applied for ease of use, this bitumen paint waterproofs and weatherproofs a variety of surfaces while protecting steelwork from corrosion. It is resistant to low concentrations of alkalis and acids and can withstand prolonged oxidation. Offering excellent resistance to temperature extremes, it will not crack in cold conditions or flow in high heat. Recommended where frost or rain prevents the use of emulsion coatings, it is suitable for waterproofing and weatherproofing ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, iron, lead, zinc, and aluminium, as well as concrete, roofing felt, fibre cement, corrugated iron, asphalt, brick, and wood. Ideal for exterior metalwork such as fire escapes, ladders, and gutters, it reduces corrosion and decay. For extended performance, it can be overcoated with a suitable decorative solar reflective paint.
